RAND California Hospital Utilization Statistics

This database contains a wide range of utilization data on licensed hospitals operating in California. Available variables include facility and patient data, such as ownership, admissions, discharges, length of stay, and treatments. The source for these data is Hospital Annual Reports from the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD).

Please note that the data provider, OSHPD, has delayed release of these data beyond 2001. We will update this site once 2002 data are available.

Please note that some facilities do not report all data or report some data as zero.
