Total Full-time and Part-time Employment by Industry (SIC)

See employment by industry beginning in 2001 based on the North American Industry Classification System categories.

This form reports estimates of employment in Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Division ("one-digit") detail for U.S. States through the year 2000. Employment is measured as the average annual number of jobs, full-time plus part-time. Each job that a person holds is counted at full weight. The estimates are largely by place of work. The source is the Bureau of Economic Analysis.
