Export Summary Statistics

This database reports the value, shipment type, and destination for U.S. merchandise exports from U.S. Customs Districts. Export values reflect the the sum of domestic and foreign exports. Domestic exports refer to merchandise grown, produced, or manufactured in the U.S. Foreign export refers to merchandise that has entered the U.S. from abroad and is being re-exported without any value added. The source for these data is the U.S. Bureau of the Census. Note that beginning in 2009, data coverage changed from monthly to quarterly. See also Detailed Merchandise Exports by Commodity.
