On most forms, you'll first choose a category of information to retrieve. Then you'll need to choose an area or areas. In this case, we chose "average sales price, all homes" as the category and we choose California, Alameda County, and the city of Chowchilla (in Madera County) for areas.

You'll usually choose the category or area from a scroll or check box. In the case of a scroll box, you usually will be able to choose multiple areas. Sometimes, however, the structure of some databases will limit the number of areas you can select.
